Denver maintained a tight lead throughout most of the matchup, though at one point held a fifteen point lead. However, the Nuggets' defense folded in the second half, allowing Minnesota to outscore them in both quarters. The real damage came in the fourth quarter, when Minnesota outscored Denver 35-25. This explosive quarter led the Timberwolves to reclaim their series lead.
Furthermore, Minnesota's defense shut down Denver for 4 minutes straight in the fourth, allowing zero points between 5:05 and 1:01. During this time, the Timberwolves outscored the Nuggets 14-0, thanks to four 3PT conversions and a dunk. Denver was able to scrap together six unanswered points, making it 109-103. However, with 14 seconds left, it was clear the Timberwolves won. Furthermore, the Timberwolves dominated the time of possession, holding the ball for roughly three more minutes in the game.
In terms of player performances, Anthony Edwards led his Timberwolves with 30 points, 7 assists, and a steal. He and Karl Anthony Towns both converted 50 % of their three-point conversions, completing 12 of 24 altogether. As for the Nuggets, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. led the team in points scored (23). Furthermore, Murray added 12 assists to his stat sheet, but only converted 3-of-11 three point shots. Jokic was nowhere to be found, scoring only 7 points while earning 12 rebounds in the game. For some reason, he constantly resorted to posting up before passing the ball instead of taking shots. We'll look into fixing this issue for future games.

With the win, the Timberwolves reclaim their series lead. However, there's still plenty of pressure on this team, especially against the defending champions. However, with players like Edwards leading the charge, the Timberwolves have a great shot of advancing past the Conference Semis and beyond. It's also possible they can avoid Game 7 entirely. They just need to win one more game.
As for the Nuggets, the loss hurts, especially after working so hard to tie the series up. However, they still have an extremely talented roster with the skill-set to close it out and prepare for Dallas or Oklahoma City. Nobody thought this would be easy for the Nuggets, too, considering how many incredible teams there are in the Western Conference. There's still time for Jokic and co. to finish things right. They just need to make the proper adjustments to come back in this one.
In terms of accuracy, we feel the scoreboard and shot conversion percentages feel accurate. However, we're still working adjusting CPU Sliders to create more authentic simulation numbers. However, one area we're still trying to work on is injuries. Using custom rosters often leads to game crashes for us, and some injury updates aren't revealed until right before game-time. However, we still plan on looking for ways to address this in the Conference Final rounds.
